Friday, April 22, 2022
6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

An Invitation to Parishioners of the St. Charles Borromeo, Resurrection and All Saints Parish

As has often been said, “Climate Change is an existential threat” to the continued existence and survival of all forms of life on Planet Earth. Journal and newspaper articles, books, videos, films, research results have all pointed to the need for all of us to get involved in the movement for Environmental Justice. Responsibilities include lobbying for support of the development, passage, funding, implementation, and evaluation of the impact of Climate Education in our Public and Private School System in Harlem.

For that to happen, all the stakeholders should meet and agree to form an active and robust partnership with each one naming, accepting, supporting, advocating, and providing funding for staff development, programs of instruction, evaluation of instruction, relevant counseling, support services and research from which best practices can emerge.

This important event will be held at the Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy Center of Catholic Charities in The Village of Harlem on Friday, April 22, 2022. We will assemble at 6:30 PM to allow time for you to sign in at the front desk before continuing to the Auditorium on the first floor of The Center. The program will start promptly at 6:45 PM and end at 8:00 PM. The Kennedy Center is easily accessible. The address is 34 West 134th Street between Malcolm X Boulevard and Fifth Avenue. Please respond to this invitation via email. The Email address for this event is ecdajls1945@gmail.com

We hope to see you on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 6:30 P.M. at the Kennedy Center!
